Sparkly NOTD!

Hey guys! Let me first apologise that I wasn't able to take this picture in natural day light, it's not even 3pm here but it's been dark and dreary all day.. Is it crazy windy where you are? It sure is here!

I don't wear sparkle or glitter on my nails too often but tonight the family and I are going out for a meal to celebrate my nephew's pre-birthday (his actual birthday is on Christmas Day, so we like to do something a couple of days before as well) and due to that and the fact that it is Christmas time, I wanted to do something more festive and sparkly with my nails. I know that red is the typical colour for Christmas but I'm saving to that to wear on Christmas day itself and instead went with Models Own Utopia with NYC's Gramercy Glitz on top. I put on two coats of each but definitely thicker coats of the NYC polish because I wanted to it be extra glitzy!

I probably won't be posting again until after Christmas, so Merry Christmas everyone!

Too Faced Borderline Clear Lip Pencil

When I first heard about this clear, wax lip pencil I thought, as someone who has trouble with lipstick staying neatly on their lips, that I would love it.. but I just don't love it.

The Borderline pencil claims to stop your lipstick from 'feathering' which I have to be honest, wasn't the issue I bought this for, so maybe I set my hopes too high but in my mind it made sense to me that if it stops feathering it would also keep my lipstick from moving off my lip line.. which it kind of does but at the same time my lipstick just seemed to sit on the line which I had drawn on with this and left a visible line along my lip of a slightly different shade to my lipstick due to, I assume, the two products mixing together.

I like that it's clear - you don't have to worry about getting the outline of your mouth perfectly shaped right or having the right shade to match your lipstick but it does make it tricky to see exactly where you have applied it. I also find that it wears down incredibly quickly (which is something I have heard said about this product before) so I'm not sure how long this would last and at the whopping price of $18 which I paid from the States (it was on the Boots website but I no longer see it on there) I'm not sure if this is good value for money and is a product I regret buying.

Have you used the Too Faced Borderline pencil? Did you like it?
Rimmel offer a clear liner too if you'd like to try out a more affordable option first!

Cuticle Care!

I don't push my cuticles back, it makes me feel sick (anyone else?) which means most of the time I am usually left with pretty messy looking manicure. So, I decided I would try some products which are made for your cuticle area to see if they could at least make them look a little better.

You can grab this at Boots for £8.99

The first one I tried was by Essie and is a product I'd been wanting to get my hands on for a while. I like the nail polish style application on this one since it is literally of an oil consistency which it makes it easy to apply. I don't know if I would say this smells like apricot but the smell itself is pleasant. I just dab a bit of this on each cuticle and then rub it in, Essie says to then gently push back your cuticles but I obviously skip this step and instead just let it soak into my skin for a while before washing my hands or wiping it off (I find this does leave your fingers very oily until you wipe it off, it doesn't ever fully soak into your skin). As a result, my cuticles look softer and seem to blend in with my skin more making them a little less noticeable and easier to work with when I'm painting my nails.

LUSH £6.50

Next I tried 'Lemony Flutter' by LUSH, a product which is called a cuticle butter but which also suggests using on ANY area of hard skin you may have. This has a pretty strong lemon/citrus scent which at first I really like but then gives off an odd after smell which I'm not too keen on but not off-putting enough for me to not want to use the product. In the tub it's an extremely thick consistency and this time I simply scoop some out with my finger, place it onto my cuticle area and rub it in. At first this one is more like a lotion but quickly melts into a more oily product. This again doesn't fully absorb into your skin and I always have to wipe it off when I'm done. My cuticles are left looking soft and neater just like with the Essie one. I don't have dry elbows or heels (which this would be perfect for) but have used this on my knuckles which worked really well. If you do buy this with the idea in mind of just using it on your cuticles like I did, I don't see how you could ever finish this entire pot!

So basically, I love both this products, I can't fault either of them and can't choose which is my favourite!

Nails Of The Week #NOTW

Hey guys! I'm doing something a little different today and instead of a NOTD post showing you the single nail polish I'm wearing, I thought I would share with you the polishes that wore over the course of the week!

First is Essie's 'Miss Fancy Pants' which as you can see is a grey/taupe colour. I love the Essie polishes that come with the wider brush because they make applying the polish so much easier and neater (I find). I'm not sure how in love I am with the colour of this one though, I don't really find myself looking down at my nails an loving it whenever I have it on.

Then was 'Lychee' from the Barry M Hi-Shine Gelly collection. I don't know about you but I find milky/pastel colours like this hard and streaky to apply and usually don't like how they look around the edges of the fingernail but overall I thought this one dried pretty smoothly. I'm not sure how shiny I would say this is though, definitely no more shiny than any of my other polishes.

Then was 'Jamaica Me Crazy' by Essie. I really like this polish (not sure I can say the picture does it much justice). It's a deep magenta/purple colour with a pretty shimmer running through it. Click here for another look at this polish.

Finally is OPI's 'Tickle My France-y' which is a new polish in my collection but one I can already tell is going to be one of my go to colours which I reach for when I want something on my nails but can't decide what. As you can tell from the picture it dries darker on the nail (I have two coats on) than it looks in the bottle, I kind of wish it didn't and stayed more true to the colour you see but I still really like it either way.

Seems like I had a thing for nudes this time around but what have you been wearing this week?

Barry M Matte Nail Polish

Hey everyone, Happy Halloween! I remember a while back a few companies (I have Rimmel in particular in mind) were selling matte top coats which when put over any nail colour, gave it a matte finish. While I was read a blog recently, I read that Barry M have come out with a line of actual matte polishes and I was eager to get my hands on some and try them and for some reason (not sure what exactly) I thought they fit well with Halloween and so comes this blog post!

L-R: Vanilla, Crush & Espresso

I actually found these pretty hard to find, wherever I was at the time seemed to be sold out of all the colours except a darkish tan/nude colour which I wasn't too keen on. I finally found these last week in Superdrug and since they were on a 3 for 2 offer I decided to try three of them.

I wasn't sure how I would like these, especially after hearing people weren't so keen on the matter top coats but I was pleasantly surprised. I tried 'Crush' first and while I'm undecided on exactly how matte the finish is, it definitely isn't your typical polish finish. I also found this dried a lot quicker than my normal polishes. I'm excited to try the other two colours which I'm sure will pop up on the blog in NOTD posts soon!

Have you tried the matte polishes?

Friday Favourites

Hey guys, welcome to my first Friday Favourites! I'm not very good at doing a monthly favourite posts, I usually just don't have enough products to talk about. As a result of that, I've decided to start doing Friday Favourites, although not every week.. just when I have a few products that I'm loving and want to tell you about!

Macadamia Deep Repair Masque - I've already reviewed this product (which you can read by clicking here) so I wont talk about it too much but I'm still really liking the masque which I usually leave on for around 10-15 minutes for silky soft hair. I have found a highstreet mask which I'm also loving also, so stay tuned for a blog post and review on that soon!

Not Your Mother's Way To Grow Shampoo - I've been really picky with shampoo lately and keep finding they leave my hair feeling knotty and hard to manage but this one not only smells amazing but didn't leave me with knotty hair and made it feel clean and soft instead. I'm almost out of this and going to be sad when it's gone because the product isn't readily available in the UK

Essie's Ladylike nail polish - Ladylike is my go to polish when I want something on my nails but not sure what or when I just can't decide on a colour to wear. It's a subtle nude with a pale purple hint to it. I think Ladylike is a perfect name for this polish as it brings in a chic almost classy look to your nails, which I love.

Maybelline Babylips in Quenched - I love the Babylips balms but in particular I like the clear ones as you can apply them without a mirror and not worry about them getting all over your face. I think these might be the softest balms I've ever used but that means I do find myself getting through them pretty quick.

Soap and Glory Sexy MotherPucker lipgloss in Punchbowl - I was given this as as unwanted gift from my sister and at £9 I don't think it's something I would have purchased myself but I really like this gloss. It has a plumping formula so has that tingly sensation after you apply it but I love the colour and find that this actually stays put on my lips for longer than I expected. I like this so much I think I may just pick up another colour!

Well those are my favourites for this week!
What are you loving right now?

Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac look-alike / Dupe !

I'm not really a bag lover but I have always liked the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Macs handbags that have been popular over the last year or so but not being a bag person, I couldn't justify the price tag. So, every now and then I search to see if there are any look-alikes about that I can get my hands on instead. I came across this one on a blog post with the girl saying she got it from Tesco! The post was dated a month ago and I believe the bag has since been taken off the Tesco website but I decided to pop in last night on the off chance they still have them which they did and for only £10 too!

Actual Mini Mac. Photo source: Luuux.com

Tesco have made a pretty good dupe of it in my opinion! These have been around in Tesco for a month or two now going by the original blog post I found, so if you want to pick one up, I'd be quick about it!

What do you think? Will you be picking one up?

Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque

I know what you're thinking "Not another Macadamia natural oil deep repair masque review", but I just had to! It's not often I spend a little extra on a product and say to myself that it is actually worth the money but with this I do.. Every single time I use it. It is expensive at £26.95 in the UK and $33 in the States but if, like me, you have really dry hair then this is going to become your new best friend.

I'd been tempted to by this for a long time but was always put off by the price. A friend of mine then made plans to come to the UK for the summer from America and I knew I had to ask them to bring some of this with them since it works out a little cheaper over there. I tried to make an order for it at Ulta.com but for some reason the order wouldn't go though. So I popped over to the Target website to find they were being sold by one get one free, making them around only $16 each!

It recommends you apply this to wet hair and leave it on for around 7 minutes but I've been putting it on before I get in the bath and then rinsing it out once I'm done which is usually anywhere from 15-30 minutes later. It leaves your hair not only smelling amazing but so super soft too. I have pretty long hair and a couple of days ago in the car, I just loved how soft it felt against my neck and shoulders which is something I don't think I've ever noticed before.

I really cant explain how much I love this masque or recommend it enough. It makes me eager to try out some of the other products in the line like the shampoo.
Have you tried any of the Macadamia products?

More empties!

Okay, before I start I have a confession to make: I did not in fact finish the Mask of Maganminty face and back pack. Well I did finish it but I've already included that in empties post and I'm not sure how it's ended up in another one. By the time I realised I've already included it in a post, I had thrown away all the other empty products and it was too late to take another photograpgh. So there's that and lets move on on with some of the products I did in fact finish recently..

I finished two of the EOS lipbalms in summer fruits and mint. I love these lip balms, they do what they're supposed to do but the packing just isn't functional. I like to carry a lip balm around with me in my purse since most of the time this is all I take out with me but these are just far too big.. Which leads me on to the Burt's Bees lipbalm, a balm that does fit in my purse and which has been one of my favourites for a long time now.

I'm always in two minds about whether or not to include deodorant in these empties posts but the two I finished up recently are two that I really liked and I'm pretty hard to please when it comes to deodorant. The Nivea double effect in violet senses smells really good and I liked the Sure crystals deodorant because it comes in the stick form which is a type of deodorant I've been enjoying using lately.

I also had to include the Herbal Essences shampoo in chamomile because of the smell. This stuff smells amazing.

What have you used up recently?

Weekend travel make up!

Hello, hello! I just spent the past weekend up in Scotland for a wedding.. We had beautiful hot and sunny weather while we were there and also got to visit Loch Lomond, which as you can see from the above picture is absolutely beautiful! Anyway, I thought I would share the make-up that I took with you!

I was pretty tight on space so tried to condense what I took with me compared to what is normally in my make up bag and even though I kept a few things out, I still didn't end up using all the the things I took with me. I took the Seventeen Doll'd Up mascara in brown for the daytime since I like a more natural look along with the Rimmel nude eyeliner pencil and then switched them both out for the black Oraganic Wear mascara from Physicians Formula and brown eyeliner pencil from Soap and Glory for the reception. I also took with me my first Revlon lipstick that I've tried in 'Pink in the Afternoon' and so far I really like it!

What are you make up essentials when you travel?

Organix Moroccan Argan Oil shampoo

I was excited to try this shampoo after liking the conditioner and at first I liked it but after using it a few more times, I was pretty disappointed. I noticed my hair felt weird and almost powdery which lead me to think maybe I hadn't rinsed the shampoo out properly and made note to myself to make sure I rinsed well the next time I used this to wash my hair but found the same thing happened again. After the third wash with no change, I decided not to use this shampoo anymore. It felt like the product had built up and was in still in my hair making it hard to run my fingers through it or style and generally just did not feel very nice definitely not smooth or silky like the bottle claims! I couldn't wait to wash my hair again with a shampoo I know works well to get it all out. I was pretty disappointed and so glad I didn't buy the big huge version of this! One positive about this product though is the amount you get even though it's a mini size - perfect for a two week holiday or travelling if you like the Organix range.

Have you used this shampoo? Did you like it?

Empties!

As you can see, I've managed to get through quiet a lot of products but it has been over the course of a few months. That lip balm with the red lid and no label was a Carmex one - I seem to pull the labels off things when I'm coming to the end of them forgetting I want to take pictures of them for a blog post! I really like the Carmex lipbalms, especially in the twisty tubes like that one. Behind the Aussie conditioner is a Tresemme heat defense spray.. I need to organise my pictures better!

Tresemme shampoo - Ah! I am SO happy to be done with this shampoo. I don't think it's the greatest shampoo in the world and it's just far too big. I had trouble holding the bottle and I got bored of it half way through.

Tresemme heat defense spray - I like this but I'm not sure whether it really does any good. I have another bottle on the go at the moment but once this one is gone I may look for a different one to try out. What are you favourites?

Natural Collection mascara in brown - I really liked this mascara considering it was under £2 but then I like natural looking lashes which is exactly what this gave me. If you like your lashes to look like you're wearing a lot of mascara then I don't think this is the one for you.

Babylips lipbalm in quenched - I've tried a few of the Babylips balms but this is my favourite. Since it's clear you don't need to worry about applying it without a mirror which for me, is something I don't want to worry about when applying a lip balm.

Collection concealer - While I like this concealer for covering blemishes I just find it breaks me out so although that tube in the picture isn't fully finished - I won't be using it anymore.

Soap and Glory smoulder kohl eyeliner pencil in black - I love this eyeliner! It  smooth and stays put all day. I could get some more use out of it but I lose the lid to it and it's now covered in other make up so I've decided to get rid of it.

Some further reviews of some of the other products can be seen by clicking the following links: Lush Mask of MagnamintyNip + Fab Pistachio Sundae body butter and Soap and Glory Smoulder Kohl eyeliner pencil

Have you used any of these products? What have you used up recently?

Highstreet picks: Statement necklaces!

When it comes to necklaces I'm pretty fussy and being a small chested girl I find they don't always hang the way I want them too, which means I don't wear them all too often but that doesn't stop me admiring them from afar and lately I have been really liking big statement necklaces. You can't get very far on the highstreet at the moment without running into a few (or a fifty) - they are absolutely everywhere in every shape, colour and size you could imagine and are a perfect way to jazz up an otherwise plain outfit.

L-R: Accessorize £8 // New Look £6.99 // Accessorize £15 // Dorothy Perkins £12.50 // Topshop £25 // Accessorize £12 // New Look £5.99 // Love Rocks £40 // Dorothy Perkins £8.50 // New Look £7.99 // Topshop £16.50 // Topshop £7.50 // Dorothy Perkins £12.50 // New Look £6.99

Are you sporting any statement necklaces at the moment? I'd love to see your favourites!

Highstreet/Drugstore cleansers!

Hey guys! It's been a while - exams were keeping me busy but they're all done now and I can get back to blogging! Recently the cleanser I had been using for a while (the Garnier Pure Active one on the far right) was no longer available at Boots or Tesco, so I assumed they had discontinued it (don't you hate that?!) and decided I needed to branch out and find something new. Since then I've realised they still sell it in Asda, so I'm not sure what's going on with it but either way I tried out some new ones and decided to share my thoughts on them with you!

Clean and Clear deep action cream wash
This is a weird one because it really does feel like a cream when you put it onto your face, it's a lot thicker and nothing like your normal face wash. It smells nice and does leave your face feeling clean.

Neautrogena visibly clear oil free face wash
I don't like this one. I've also used the grapefruit version and didn't like that one either. It's just really hard to work with - the consistency of it is almost like a jelly/gel and I find it right slips off your hands making it hard to get any on your face to clean it with! It doesn't lather very well and I'm never left with a fresh, clean feeling face when I use it. I won't be repurchasing any of the washes from their line again.

Garnier Pure Active charcoal scrub
I really this one. I like the way it feels; like it's exfoliating your skin just enough and it lathers pretty nicely. It also eaves your skin feeling soft and clean.

Garnier Pure Active deep pore unclogging wash
Finally my favourite one. I'm so glad I found somewhere that still sells this and I'm buying a couple every time I go into Asda just in case they are phasing the product out. It lathers really nicely, smells nice and leaves your skin feeling super clean and fresh.

It seems like I'm a fan of the Pure Active line from Garnier - what are your favourites?

Lush - Mask of Magnaminty

Okay, to be honest I'm not the biggest fan of Lush but while I was having a nosey round in there recently I spotted this and decided to give it a try. Mask of Magnaminty is a mask for either your face or back which claims to fight against spots and blemishes. I've been using it in the bath now for a few weeks (leaving it on for around 10 minutes) and while I haven't seen much of a difference it feels really nice.

The mask has a herbal and peppermint smell which at first I wasn't too keen on but I've grown to really like the and the peppermint oil has a cooling effect on your skin. Depending on how much and how long you leave it on for, the cooling sensation lasts even after you've rinsed it off. It's very easy to wash off and your skin is left feeling clean and fresh but it definitely takes a few rinses to get it out of your bath!

You can click here to read more about this product on the Lush website and for this 315g pot it costs £8.95. I was a bit disappointed that it expires so quickly though (just over a month after I purchased it) - Do you use your Lush products after they have 'expired'?

NOTD: Sally Hansen - Bubblegum Pink

Bubblegum Pink is just that - a bright pink colour but this one is a blue toned pink with a very subtle shimmer to it. I really love this nail polish, I love the colour, it applied really nicely, was completely opaque in two coats and I was also pretty impressed with its longevity too. It's also a perfect colour for spring and summer.

I wish the Xtreme range was more readily avialable in the UK!
Have you tried any of the polishes from this range?

Haul and an exciting find!

I recently picked up a few beauty items and managed to get a couple of complete bargains! Bic Soleil razors are some of my favourites at the moment and while I was in Savers (which is somewhere I don't tend to shop), I spotted this one with six heads for only £1.99 so I grabbed one along with a little bottle of 100% pure tea tree oil for £1. Then In Boots I picked up a little mini bottle of the Moroccan Argan conditioner to try and a Clean and Clear cream facial wash. I'm having trouble finding my favourite Garnier face wash at the moment so I'm on the look out for a new face what that I like.

L-R: Cinderella, Forget Now & Winterberry

While I was in Boots I spotted that they had a stand of Sinful Color polishes. I already own a couple of these which I bought whilst in America but recently I've been wishing we sold them in the UK because not only do they have a really nice colour range but in the states they are really affordable  So I was rather excited when I spotted these! To top it all off these are only £1.99 in Boots and to make it even better after paying I realised they were on a 3 for 2 offer!

Have you picked up any bargains lately?

NOTD: Natural collection - Burgundy

Ignore the horrible state of my nails at the moment, I recently had a gel manicure done and ever since having it done and then removing it, my nails and cuticles have been in pretty bad condition. Hence why this definitely isn't the prettiest NODT post in the world! I still wanted to share this colour with you though because of how pretty I think it is. For someone reason in the picture Burgundy looks almost metallic which it isn't, instead it has a duochrome finish of a deep red and a gold/bronze colour.

I'm a fan of the Natural Collection polishes, I think they have some really pretty and interesting colours and for £1.79 you really can't go wrong!

February Favourites

As you can see I don't have many favourites this month but I still wanted to share these few with you that I have been really enjoying

Revlon Colourstay foundation - I finally got around to trying this, I was previously using Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua foundation (review here) but wanted to try something with a little more coverage as that's my only fault with the Vitalumiere Aqua and so decided to try Colourstay. So far I really like it and have been using it with the Real Techniques stippling brush.. I just wish it had a pump!

MOR Lychee Flower hand cream - I had never heard of this brand before and as you can see this is just a sample I have of their hand cream but I've managed to get around 11 uses out of one of the two samples I have and I absolutely love it. It smells (to me) like cocoa butter and after doing a little research I found that this costs $20 a tube which is pretty steep but I like it so much I'd be tempted!

L'Oreal shine stay - I love everything about this! Mine is in 'On and on rose' which is a pretty subtle pink shade but gives just a hint of colour which I love. I really want to pick up one (or two.. or three..) more of these.

Physicians Formula conceal RX - I've yet to find a concealer I love and although I don't use this under my eyes I like using it to cover up blemishes. You need the teeniest amount so one tube of this stuff will last forever! I got mine here.

What were you loving in February?

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara

Okay, if I'm honest it was originally the packaging which first attracted me to this mascara but then I started to hear really good things about it in the beauty blogging world and decided to finally pick it up and try it out for myself from Cosmetics and Candy. Since it's called 'Organic Wear' it is 100% natural and has none of the nasty additives or colours which is perfect if you like more natural make up products.

It has a really thick wand with a slightly bigger than normal brush which is a little bit fatter in the middle and with small plastic bristles. This mascara has a slightly weird smell, almost like playdough but it's very subtle and I can really only smell it while I'm applying it.

I like my lashes to look natural and without clumps and as far as that goes I really like this mascara! It enhances my lashes making them look fuller, longer and thicker but still natural and fluttery. It separates them really well and so far I haven't had a problem with clumping.

Have you tried this mascara?
You can read more about it or purchase it here on the Cosmetics and Candy website for £11.99.

Cosmetics and Candy haul!

I wanted to make an update with a little haul of the things I recently purchased from a new website called Cosmetics and Candy which is an online store that sells American beauty products and candy. I was able to order a few of the things I have been wanting to try but up until now hadn't gotten around to and also some of the new releases that are available in the US but that we aren't able to get in the UK.

I picked up a few Kool Aids and candy but the beauty items that I got are the Physicians Formula organic wear mascara in Black along with the Physicians Formula conceal RX concealer. I also decided to try two of the Maybelline Colour whispers in Cherry on top and Pin Up Peach and finally bought one of the new L'Oreal Caresse aqua lip lacquers in Rose On and On (which I LOVE and really want to try some of the other shades!).

If you would like to check out the website, you can do so by clicking here.
Have you heard about this website or ordered anything from them?

January Favourites

Since the month is almost over now and I wasn't sure what to blog about today I decided to put up my January favourites. Some months I don't really seem to have favourites or anything that I have in particular been enjoying over other things but this month I have been really loving a few of the new things I have got recently.

MAC MSF in Soft and Gentle // Angel by Theirry Mugler perfume // EOS lipbalm in Blueberry // Babylips lip balm in Quenced // Nailene nail polish remover // Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue hand and body lotion // Bic Miss Soleil razors

What have been your favourites so far this month?

NOTD: Andrea Fulerton 'Joanna'

Joanna is really pretty deep pink colour with an overall glittery finish to it. However, in certain lights the polish has a range of colours to it making it ones of the prettiest polishes I own.

You can buy this polish at Superdrug for £3.99

£5 Revlon lip products

I thought since Revlon are still doing their £5 offer in Superdrug and Boots I would take advantage and buy a couple of their lip products that I have been wanting to try. I've used their colourburst lip glosses before and really like them, so I grabbed a couple more of those (016/Bordeaux and 008/Peony) along with one of their Just Bitten balm stains (020/lovesick) along with one of their Just Bitten lip stain and balms (Beloved/Adoration). I've been wanting to try both of these products but so far hadn't gotten around to it and thought now would be the perfect time!

Have you taken advantage of this offer too?

The Body Shop's smooth & renew facial loofah pads

I'm not a fan of using most exfoliators on my face because I'm scared to get the little bits in my eyes, so when I saw these little exfoliating pads from The Body Shop, which are specifically made to use on your face, I thought they would be perfect!

They remind me of dried noodles!

One side of the pad is incredibly rough and too scratchy to use on your face but the other side is softer and doesn't feel nearly as rough on the skin. I've been using them with my normal face wash (Garnier pure active) and they lather up with it really well. They expand a little in size the first time you wet them and are a nice size to use on your face.

You get three 'loofahs' for £4 and if you would like to read more about them on the Body Shop's website you can do so by clicking here.

Have you tried these exfoliating pads? What did you think?
Do you have any other favourites I should check out?

Nailene nail polisher remover

I had heard that this nailene nail polish remover was really good and so was tempted to try it myself but my experience in the past with these kind of removers, where you stick your finger into the sponge and wiggle it around, has never really been good. That on top of that fact that I feel like these are quiet pricey at around £7, I didn't end up buying it. I then received this as a gift which sparked my interest in it all over again.

I am someone who really doesn't like taking my nail polish off. I also have a weird finger nail where nail polish gets stuck under my skin around the nail and it's really hard (and hurts) to rub at it to try and get it off. So, it came the time to take off the nail polish I was wearing and I decided to use this and  see how it worked.

I can't begin to tell you how impressed I am with it or how well this actually works! It took off all my nail polish (even on my stubborn finger nail) within a few seconds. It didn't even leave any tiny bits or streaks behing on my nail. The polish was completely gone.

I expected the inside to be sponge like all the other versions I have tried but instead its a hard plastic with bristles that you rub your nail against. It's quick and easy and if you hate taking your nail polish off like me, I really recommend to try this out. I love it!

This was £7 and I believe it was from Tesco
Have you tried this Nailene nail polisher remover? What did you think?
